Dance, sing, and celebrate Tamil heritage

Tamilachi Valli Kummi is a living tradition that brings communities together through rhythmic movement and sacred storytelling. Join us in preserving the folk arts of Kongu Nadu for generations to come.

Foundation

Building the next generation of artists

We train aspiring performers in traditional Kongu Tamil folk arts, passing down techniques and knowledge that have endured for centuries.

Heritage

Bringing traditions to the stage

Our artists perform across villages, towns, and festivals, showcasing the beauty and vitality of Kongu Tamil culture to audiences everywhere.

Community

Connecting youth with their roots

We create opportunities for women, youth, and children to participate in folk arts and understand the values embedded in their cultural traditions.

Cultural

Celebrating heritage through gatherings

We organize cultural events that bring communities together, creating spaces where traditions are honored and shared across generations.

Beginning

Founded by Mrs. G. Dharani in 2021

In Valliyarachal Village, Kangeyam Taluk, Tiruppur District, Mrs.G. Dharani established Tamizhachi Kalaikuzhu with a singular purpose. She saw the risk of losing the folk arts that defined her community and chose to act.
